Moroccan Leather Shoes & the Adams-Morgan Bazaar...

I love a bright, market-type store as much as the next person. So how could I just walk past Bazaar Atlas on DC's Adam's Morgan strip, without popping in for a quick peek at the beads, the leather accessories and the colourful everything?

On a recent, quickie stop-off in Washington, DC with Dr. Professor, we happened upon this ram-crammed alley of a store; between the cute leather slippers, the beaded gourds, and those satchel-style bags, I was in a Moroccan/African/Asian bazaar heaven!

By the way: Does anyone else think that the stretch leading towards Dupont Circle in DC is slightly reminiscent of the walk towards the Champs Elysees in Paris?

Not the vibe of the cities; I'm talking about the structural layout of the avenues, with the trees running down the center of the roads.

Just couldn't shake that vaguely Parisian feel in DC...
