About Distilled
Au Courant Distilled is my editor's journal, written as an extension of Au Courant Studio - there's a little bit of OP-Editorials, healthy doses of style photography, fashion ramblings, and the odd post where I can be seen wearing a handful of my favourite items over and over. Sometimes I even ramble about the happenings in the Caribbean and in particular, about the minutiae of life as a Trinidadian who's been living away from the islands.
From the fall of 2013, I'll be writing from a London flat whenever I get a break from Documenting Fashion as a part of my History of Art MA research at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Drop me a line if you're in Ol' Blighty and you've got fashion/contemporary art theory ideas you're just itching to tease apart. Particularly if you'd like to do so over a bottle of Belgian beer, and especially if the beer in question is a Grimbergen.
