
Trinidad-style curry for Sunday lunch is always a win in my books.
I had big plans to do a full buss-up-shot post for Au Courant. With the 'buss up' part being my freshly rolled and tawah-cooked paratha (the bread, above), and the rest being a secret chicken-curry and vegetable mix, the recipe to which is known only by my goodly husband.
Unfortunately, by the time we got to actually cooking and the scent of those tantalizing Indian spices enveloped our entire home, the only objective in mind was to hurry up so we could eat; neither of us wanted to stop preparations to take bloody pictures for this post.
Hence this is the only one I managed to snap, ten seconds before I dug right in...
